9: I’m a recovering racist – and I won’t be a bystander

This is a special episode of the weekly spark for music teachers to address the situation that is going on in our world right now.

Since the terrible death of George Floyd in the United states there has been much said about racism and there have been protests everywhere, not just in the United states, but all around the world.

Janice Tuck believes that as teachers and as people of influence in our community we all have a duty to stand up and say “this is not ok” and that she will not be a bystander and allow racism to continue in her world.
